The Hydrators
Hit Central Park

Our street team makes their first outing spreading the truth one bottle at a time. How? By refilling people’s spent bottled water bottles with good ol’ fashion New York City tap, of course.

This is just our first time out, expect to see the daring duo anywhere people might be with bottle, but without drink. It might seem like a drop in the bucket, but once they get the taste for it, every sip counts!

How about some more photos of that girl in the white tanktop? Wow! She is perfection.

Oh my god, I saw you guys outside the Mac store. I thought it was some kind of student film or something. If I’d have known I’d have come in for a fill-up. I didn’t have a bottle, but maybe you could’ve put a squirt in my Pepsi.

That sounded dirty, but you know what I mean.

Great idea. You should take it back and forth across the Brooklyn bridge. I’m watching a crowd form on the ped platform out my office window. Perhaps some of them are thirsty.

Maybe different jumpsuits are in order. They kind of look like they’re there to clean the street.

I like it. HOw did people react? I want to know more.

How did you make backpacks that dispense liquid like that? Maybe you should be in two businesses. Double your income. Diversify. Sell in bulk.

How does this make you money, giving your product away and all? Oh, that’s right, I almost forgot, the city gives it away at water fountains too. That’s some pretty tough competition.

    Cool site.

Anytime there’s a Coke, there’s room for a Pepsi also. Does this mean we’ll be seeing more than one tap water in a bottle at the local bodega?

I have heard that NYC tap water is pretty good.

Ours, on the other hand, is disgusting. Sometimes it smells so bleachy that it makes me want to gag. I can’t imagine that drinking what is essentially swimming pool water would be good for you.

It’d be a shame if the girl got some of that tap water on her tank top there. ;) (I apologize for this, but c’mon, you were thinking it.)

And yeah tap water is surprisingly delicious here. I need to get one of those refillable water bottles, though. I’ve just been refilling gatorade bottles.

    @Jake D. - word. I’d ‘tap’ that.

As far as I recall NYC water from tap/fawcet is good. Unlike London where in hot summers the water can be chemically significant enough to be on the pill.

As a Scot this was disgusting.

Also the air there make their water look like Scottish Springs finest.

    black snot,
